O'Neill Band is Pride of the Irish Capital

Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe O'Neill High School Screamin' Eagle Marching Band concluded their marching band season with a dominating show at Schuyler Central on Saturday.
The OHS Band earned a Superior Rating, Most Outstanding Drum Majors, Best in Class B as well as the Grand Champion award. The band had received an Excellent Rating and Most Outstanding Colorguard at Pierce a week earlier.
This year's marching show was entitled "RUDY!" with music from the hit movie. It combined football themes with the Irish heritage. This proved to be a perfect fit, because after all, O'Neill is the Irish Capital of Nebraska. The drum majors again this year were Marie Sitz and Vionne Trizila.
"Play Like A Champion Today is the Notre Dame's football motto - our band did just that today." commented director Chad Dean.
