O'Neill 6th through 9th Graders Participate in Pierce Honor Band

On Saturday, April 9th, 15 O’Neill Band students traveled to Pierce High to rehearse and perform in the 15th Annual Pierce Honor Bands. This honor band festival is geared towards the middle level students. Only those in grades 6-9 are eligible to audition. Guest Conductors this year were Emily Bond from Lincoln Christian, and Chris Johnson from Elkhorn Grandview.

Representing O’Neill in the 6th-7th Grade Band were (Front row L-R) Christopher Jennings, Rebecca Hupp, William Otte and Alyssa Fehringer. Playing in the 8th-9th Grade Band were (continuing L-R) Makayla Hilker, Mikyla Grenier, Samantha Bowland. Second row: Samual Carstens, Michael Poese, Kolby Dean, Heydon Strope, Maddie Hohbein, Nate Welsh, Sean Gildersleeve and Rosie Nelson.
