History Class Website Features Holt & Boyd County Soldiers

Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Early Bird history class at O’Neill High School recently unveiled a new website that is dedicated to Holt and Boyd County soldiers who died while serving in World War I. The site also highlights two area men who were each awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for heroism during the war. Included in the site are thirty-six individual pages. Each page contains information about a specific soldier. Letters home from the front, photos, and funeral articles are just some of the items that can be found on the site.
