Meet the New Elementary Principal

My name is Jim York and I will be the new principal at O'Neill Elementary School. My wife, Ashley, and I are excited about this move for our family of six. We have four children (Jozy--6 years old in 1st Grade, Hugh & Jasper--4 years old, and Jude---2 years old). Ashley and I are both Wayne State College grads and have spent the last nine years in Thedford with Thedford Public Schools. I've had a plethora of experiences during my time in Thedford, including teaching in the elementary school, being the school guidance counselor, coaching multiple sports, while spending the last five years as an administrator. Ashley has taught Kindergarten for eight years in Thedford and will continue teaching Kindergarten in O'Neill.
I enjoy spending my time with my family, golfing, and fishing, so you can probably find me outside during my free time! I also enjoy playing and watching sports, with the Huskers and Kansas City Royals being on the top of my list! Ashley and I are excited to be moving to O'Neill and look forward to getting involved in the community.
