OHS FCCLA Chapter National Leadership Conference Results

July 10, 2017

Eleven members of the O'Neill FCCLA Chapter spent the week of July 2-6 week at the National Leadership Conference with over 7,900 other FCCLA members, advisors, parents, and guests in Nashville TN. 

O'Neill FCCLA members competed at the National STAR competition. Results include:

Gold medalists:

  • Robyn Isom in Leadership-first place in the nation
  • Allison Becker, Allison Ludwig, and Emily Morrow on Digital Stories For Change-second place in the nation
  • Lauren Osborne in Illustrated Talk-Eighth place in the nation
  • Haley Schmeichel, Blair Langan, and Julia Bauer in Advocacy-sixth place in the nation
  • Emma Krysl and Payton Birkel in Chapter Website-seventh place in the nation

Silver medalist:

  • Makenna Welke in Nutrition and Wellness, Jr. division.

Allison Becker, Allison Ludwig, and Emily Morrow competed for a record setting sixth time. They are now five time national gold medalists.

Lauren Osborne was part of the national media team as she was one of four students from across the country to be selected to be on the national media team as a photographer.
