AQuESTT Results
December 15, 2015
The Nebraska Department of Education has issued its first annual AQuESTT ratings. AQuESTT stands for Accountability for a Quality Education System, Today and Tomorrow. Our state has gone beyond measuring school success solely on test scores; they have created a next-generation accountability system that supports and rewards continuous improvement for every student, school, and educator. The result is an innovative approach that views each student and school holistically, and classifies all schools into four performance levels. The links below contain a Power Point presentation about the new AQuESTT system, the results and classifications for O'Neill's schools, and a "how to guide" to understanding the ratings. We are proud of our students and our school district. We look forward to continuing to improve education for each child as we move into the future in keeping with our Vision Statement: Dream, Believe, Achieve: Empowering Today's Students to be Tomorrow's Leaders.
