Last March, OHS freshmen now sophomores took the Pre ACT. First picture students scored in the 50th to 89th percentile Nationwide. Four students scored in the 90th to 96th percentile. Two students scored in the 97th percentile and higher. #ONeillWay
The volleyball jamboree is this Friday in the Aerie. As a reminder, admission prices are $6 adults & $5 students for this event & we are not allowed to accept any passes, everyone must pay admission.

O'Neill Public Schools would like to welcome Mrs. Emily Wlaschin. Mrs. Wlaschin will teach JH English Language Arts.
OHS would like to welcome Mrs. Heather Heller as a teacher this year. Mrs. Heller was a para last year at the high school. Mrs. Heller will teach 7-12 special education this year.
Laptop Checkout for 8th-12th graders will be held on Tuesday, August 4th for students with last names beginning with the letter A through the letter L and Wednesday, August 5th for students with last names beginning with the letter M through the letter Z. Students attending sports practices should plan to check out their laptop following practice on their scheduled day.
Students may also pick up their class schedule these days.
New students to OPS may come to the high school on Monday, August 3rd to make a schedule. School Counselors will be available from 9 am to 11:30 am.
7th grade Orientation will be Monday August 10th at 11:30 am in the lunchroom. Please use the Activity Entrance doors.

An athletic physical is required for every student in grades 7th, 8th, and 9th. Any student in grades 10, 11, and 12 plan to participate in an NSAA activity needs a physical as well. You must schedule this with your Healthcare provider and bring the form, signed by both student and parent or guardian, to the high school office or Physical Education teacher on the first day of school.
The 2026-2027 School Calendars are printed and available for pick up at the O'Neill Public Schools Administrative Office at 635 N 4th Street! Please stop by during normal business hours (9:00 am - 3:00 pm). Calendars are located on the table inside the entryway.
