NRCSA Outstanding Secondary Teacher

On Thursday, March 23, 2023, Mr. Mike Peterson was awarded Outstanding Secondary Teacher at the NRCSA (Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association) Spring Conference held in Kearney, NE.  Congratulations Mr. Peterson on this well deserved honor. 

OHS Band Recognized for Academic Achievement

Congratulations to all of our students who competed in the NECC Scholastic Contest on March 22, 2023. Special shout out to the following students: Tucker Stagemeyer 1st place in American Government, Winnie Huber 1st place in Vocabulary, Braedyn French 2nd place in Intro to Psychology, Carter Hickey 2nd place in World History, and Maddox Hammerlun 3rd place in Geometry.

District Results & State Speech Qualifiers

District speech is the most emotional day of the year. Intense heartbreak and profound joy coexist. On March 27th at 7:00 pm, the Lynn Theater in Lynch, NE will be showing Suicide. . . .The Ripple Effect - The Kevin Hines Documentary.  Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  This is being sponsored by the Holt/Boyd Community Connections Collaborative and the North Central District Health Department.
