Great day for the Eagle wrestlers! The high school girls went 5-0 at the Lyons Decatur dual tournament to bring home the championship & the junior high boys finished as champions of our 14-team home invite. Way to go Eagles!
The Eagle basketball teams started their season in Valentine tonight. The girls earned an 80-41 win. The boys fell 65-43. The girls are back in action at Battle Creek next Tuesday & both teams host Elkhorn Valley next Thursday.
Group Tickets for the state wrestling tournament to sit in the O'Neill Section are due this Friday by 3pm. Ticket request forms can be picked up and need to be returned with payment to the High School Office. Instructions for completing the form can be found on the form. If you have any questions, reach out to any of the High School Coaching Staff.

The unified bowling team finished their season at districts today. The team scored 558 & placed 4th. It was a great first season for this team, we are excited to see this program continue to grow!

OHS Band Plays at USD Volleyball Match
On Thursday, November 6th, the O’Neill High School Pep Band traveled to Vermillion, South Dakota. There, inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center, the band played for the USD vs UNO Volleyball match. As the featured band that night, they played at pregame, between sets as well as time outs. In all the OHS Band played 17 tunes. This was the first time the band has performed at a collegiate sports event. “It was a great honor for USD to ask us to play at this volleyball match. I’m glad we were able to work it out. The kids really played well and enjoyed themselves.” commented band director Chad Dean.
