to O'Neill Public School's 24-7 Learning Initiative for 2016-2017 OHS Students and Families, As we get ready to begin another exciting school year at OHS, we want to share important information for our 24/7 Learning Initiative for 2016-2017. Much like last year, we will NOT host a “Bootcamp” laptop distribution. Instead we will again use the following system for issuing student laptops:

Be sure to also read the laptop checkout forms. We ask that you take time to read them and send them with your child (signed) on the first day of school.
Remember the following usage fees apply to O’Neill’s 24/7 Learning Initiative - $15.00 per student.
All students are entirely responsible for their personal storage and backup. Some options for doing so may include:
• free cloud storage services (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
• buying a personal flash drive (various sizes) to back up files of choice
• buying a personal external hard drive and using Time Machine software (built into the Mac) to backup the entire laptop.
Recommended storage services:
Consider adding the following to your school supplies list:
• flash drive or portable external hard drive
• earbuds (LARGER HEADPHONES ARE DISCOURAGED)
We are thrilled to launch another exciting year of 24/7 Learning at O’Neill Public School!
Every student and at least one parent or guardian must watch the following video AND COMPLETE THE GOOGLE FORM before checking out a laptop for the school year.
