JH Boys @ Boone Central Track Meet

The O’Neill Junior High boys track team traveled to Albion on Easter Monday to compete in the annual Boone Central Invite.  The event, held in near perfect conditions, saw the Eagles improve times and distances in several events.  Teams were divided into 7^th and 8^th grade divisions. Eighth grader Nate Brown was a double gold medalist for the Eagles.  His wins came in the triple jump (34-6) and the 100 (12.71).  Another first place for O’Neill came from Charlie Morrow who won the 8^th grade shot with a toss of 33 feet and 6.5 inches.
